Thomas F. Durbin Chapter 70
Escondido, California
MESSAGE FROM THE COMMANDER
Welcome To DAV Chapter 70
I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to our THOMAS F. DURBIN CHAPTER 70 website. I am Commander Enrique Ramos; we are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. I thank you for having confidence in me, and electing me as Commander for the current year. Together, we can work toward the goal of improving the quality of life for everyone here. Our chapter is filled with dedicated past commanders, officers, and veterans that are committed to forging partnerships with the Veterans Administration and business of this community. A volunteer’s sole reason for doing what they do is to ensure the future sustainability of our Chapter or our volunteer projects; focusing all my efforts on "Volunteering" more and “doing” less for myself. Our Chapter is developing new unique results of a certain level of quality that will enable us to penetrate the veteran community in the North County area.
Unbeknownst to the group we've been doing public relations and veterans community outreach, development, quality control and committing ourselves to better serve veterans and their families volunteering and supporting the Veterans in our local communities. Working, Training and volunteering with the VA Hospital to name a few successful projects. Let's give the goals and projects our best efforts that they will continue to be a positive viable contribution to the veteran’s community here and the North County area. DAV Chapters are service organizations and we strive to provide the best service we can with professionalism and confidence for veterans and their families.
