A Message From Our State Commander
Hello friends, family, and comrades,
Thank you for being an essential part of the DAV Department of California.
It is a privilege to serve as your Commander.
Our purpose is clear: to stand with you and for you. Whether you are a veteran, family member, or a new voice within our community, know that DAV California is committed to ensuring you are supported, connected, and empowered to access the benefits you have earned.
As we look ahead, our vision centers on strengthening unity across our chapters and building meaningful partnerships—within our communities, with fellow organizations, and most importantly, with each other. We are one DAV family, and together we can expand our impact and reach more veterans and their families than ever before.
In the coming year, I look forward to creating more opportunities to meet with you and visiting your chapters, connecting with members and families, and hearing firsthand about your successes, challenges, and ideas. These conversations will guide our path forward and ensure we remain responsive to the needs of those we serve.
